Its been a long time coming.. 1st Battalion of Venezuelans complete.

Title says it all really. These chaps are constructed from a mixture of parts from the Victrix Austrian & French 28mm plastic boxed sets.

A close up of the command base:

And the Grenadier Company:

Have already assembled the figures for a second battalion of the same but in the meantime to cure the blue blindness currently being experienced I'm going to assemble a Spanish Royalist unit, the Talavera Regiment in green jackets.
I also need to look at some pictures of South American terrain to get a feel of how verdant or otherwise to do the bases.

  3. Don't let Hugo Chavez hear you suggesting that Venezuelans are even remotely French Simon, that fellow has a serious thing for Simon Bolivar:) In reality this is my way of scratching a Napoleonic itch I don't wish to admit that I've got!
Thank you Dean, all credit to Victrix- they are the ones who have taken all the hard work out of my paltrey efforts at conversion.
Gentlemen, as ever my best regards.

  4. Victrix take a bit longer to assemble, than Perry, but do indeed lend themselves to conversion. So what do you have, planned, next?
